Hey, I'm Ashley!
Thank you for taking the time to check out my website and learn a little more about me and my photography journey.
I'm a northern California girl at heart, born and raised in Sonoma County which lies just an hour north of San Francisco. Eight years ago I decided to leave everything behind and move to Oregon for new opportunities and a change of scenery. Moving to Oregon was one of the best things that happened to me. I still marvel at the natural beauty that surrounds us here. Little did I know that by making that move, my passion for photography would grow into something so much more than just a hobby. I have spent the last eight years growing and developing my photography and editing skills to professionally capture weddings, family portraits, product photography, headshots, and more! Head to my portfolio and my photos will speak for themself!
When you choose me as your photographer I can promise you three things:
1. Prepare to have fun! I bring a calm, easy-going energy to every shoot that has made all of my clients comfortable in front of the camera even if it's their first professional photoshoot. Sometimes we try ideas that work and sometimes we laugh at how awkward we feel but in the end, the photos are always beautiful.
2. Candids are my favorite. Posed photos are necessary and expected for most photoshoots but I love to keep a low profile and capture those big laughs, sweet hugs, toothy grins and moments of emotion that are bound to happen during special events like weddings, engagements, and family gatherings. I want you to look back and remember the emotions of the day and not just the surface stuff.
3. I am inclusive of all ages, races, sizes, cultures, religions and backgrounds. Beauty comes in different forms and I have been really lucky to photograph many beautiful people!
If you like what you hear, let's schedule a date for coffee or even a simple phone/video call. It's important you feel good about your photographer, especially for a wedding when you will be spending most of the day with them! I look forward to hearing from you and hearing more about you!
